1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CV ATS Express handles information when you create, edit, preview, export, or share resumes. It applies to the current Android application, identified by the package com.cvatsexpress.app, and to this information page.

CV ATS Express was designed as an offline-first application. The current version has no user accounts, authentication, cloud synchronization, advertising, behavioral analytics, or artificial intelligence features connected to remote servers.

2. Information you enter

To build a resume, you may enter information such as your name, contact details, location, professional links, objective, summary, experience, education, skills, languages, and courses.

You provide this information voluntarily. It is used only to create, edit, display, and generate your resumes on your device. CV ATS Express does not automatically transmit resume content to the developer or to a remote server.

3. Local storage

Your resumes and interface-language preference are stored locally on your device through the application's storage features. Android automatic backup is disabled for app data.

The data remains on your device until you delete a resume, clear the app's data, or uninstall CV ATS Express. Because we do not keep a remote copy, we cannot recover resumes that have been deleted, lost, or stored on a device that is no longer available.

4. PDFs and sharing

When you request an export, the PDF is generated locally. On Android, a temporary file may be written to the app's private cache to enable sharing. If sharing is unavailable, you may choose to save the document on your device.

Sharing only occurs after your explicit action. When you choose another app—such as email, messaging, or cloud storage—the subsequent handling of the PDF is governed by that service and its privacy policy. Check the recipient before sending a document containing personal data.

5. Data collection, sale, and sharing

In the current version of CV ATS Express:

• we do not collect the content of your resumes;
• we do not sell personal data;
• we do not use data for advertising;
• we do not use analytics or tracking SDKs;
• we do not build behavioral profiles;
• we do not require registration or login.

A sharing action initiated by you does not mean CV ATS Express collects the document; it only passes the file to the app or destination you select.

6. Device features

The app uses local capabilities needed to operate, including preference storage, file creation, and Android's sharing interface. These capabilities are used to perform actions you request, not to create a remote personal-data database.

7. This page and Firebase Hosting

This Privacy Policy is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service provided by Google. When you access this page, technical data needed to deliver and protect the content—such as IP address, browser information, and request date and time—may be processed by the hosting provider.

This page does not install analytics tools, advertising pixels, or proprietary tracking cookies. It stores only your manually selected language in your browser's local storage so that the same language can be used on your next visit.

8. Security

We use a local architecture and avoid unnecessary transmissions to reduce data exposure. Even so, no device or system is completely immune to risk. We recommend keeping Android updated, using a screen lock, and protecting exported or shared PDFs.

9. Your controls and rights

Because resumes stay on your device, you control your data directly in the app: you can edit or delete resumes, and you can remove all data by clearing app storage or uninstalling it.

Because we do not receive a copy of your resumes, we normally have no data to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. If you have privacy questions or wish to exercise an applicable right concerning information you may have provided directly to the developer in a support communication, contact us using the address at the end of this policy.

10. Children and teenagers

CV ATS Express is a general resume-building tool and is not specifically directed at children. Minors should use the app with guidance from a parent or guardian and should avoid entering or sharing unnecessary personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app, applicable law, or the services we use. The current version will be available on this page with its last-updated date. Material changes to data handling will be communicated appropriately before they take effect when required.
